Huawei Mate 9 extends VoLTE support to U Mobile

KUCHING: Huawei Malaysia announced that its flagship Huawei Mate 9 will support Voice over LTE ( VoLTE) calls on U Mobile’s 4G network nationwide, including East Malaysia.

VoLTE is a new voice call technology that utilises LTE networking to provide improved connectivity and support for HD voice, HD video, and rich media services for users.

In extending VoLTE call support for the Huawei Mate 9 to include U Mobile’s network nationwide, Huawei has made its flagship Mate 9 the only device available in the market today with VoLTE on all major LTE providers – including Digi, Yes 4G and webe.
