Sign up early for BP Run to get free t-shirt and towel
SIBU: Those interested to join the 7th Borneo Post ( BP) Run at Sibu Town Square on Aug 31 are advised to sign up early to get a free towel and t-shirt.
See Hua Group’s marketing executive Jamie Kong said the towel and t- shirt are limited in stock and will be given out on a first come, first served basis.
Over 2,000 runners have registered compared to 600 runners for the inaugural run in 2011. The 6th run held last year registered over 3,000 runners from throughout the state.
The run is a community project of the See Hua Group to promote interaction and foster ties among Malaysians.
It is divided into five categories: 10km Men’s Open, 10km Ladies’ Open, 10km Boys’ Junior, 10km Girls’ Junior and 5km Fun Run.
In the Men’s and Women’s Open, prizes for the top five winners are RM500, RM350, RM300, RM250 and RM150. The 6th-20th will each receive RM50 as consolation prize.
In the Boys’ and Girls’ Junior, the top five winners will receive RM350, RM300, RM250, RM200 and RM150. The 6th to 60th will each get RM30.
As for the Fun Run, it is RM150, RM120, RM100, RM80 and RM60 for the first five. The 6th to 90th will each get RM20. The closing date is Aug 8. For more information, call The Borneo Post on 084- 315252 or fax 084- 320549.
