KDU University College strives to produce industry-ready graduates
KUCHING: The KDU University College is an institution with 32 years of history and experience, which believes in providing realworld education that combines knowledge and experiential learning that goes beyond the classroom.
At KDU, students are encouraged to embark on realworld projects that could develop their leadership and interpersonal skills, ensuring that they would hit the ground running and become graduates who think, do and innovate.
Established in 1983, KDU College – as it was known then – was Malaysia’s first purposebuilt private college that provided opportunities for Malaysian youths to pursue good-quality and highvalue education encompassing twinning programmes that would allow students to attain overseas tertiary education locally.
In August 2010, the institution was upgraded to university college status – a reflection of its quality programmes, excellent teaching facilities and strong industrial partnerships.
The KDU University College and KDU College are members of Paramount Education – a fullyintegrated education services provider for primary, secondary, tertiary, and post-graduate level studies, as well as executive and professional development programmes.
In January 2015, KDU University College moved to its new flagship campus at Utropolis Glenmarie, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a contemporary teaching and learning environment.
KDU University College provides a wide range of programmes at certificate, diploma, degree and masters levels, and has introduced homegrown degree programmes that are at the forefront of growing industries, reflecting its promise of being a real-world university that meets real-world needs.
These programmes cover hospitality, tourism and culinary arts, game development and computing, communications and creative arts, business, as well as engineering.
