SEGi law graduates score high with second class honours

-

KUCHING: Three graduates from SEGi College Sarawak (SEGi) will be awarded with upper second class honours for their Bachelor of Laws ( LLB) Honours degree under the University of London International Programmes.

The college in a statement yesterday said this is the first time its graduates have achieved this classification.

Six other graduates from the college’s 2016– 2017 final year batch of LLB students will receive a second class honours lower division while the remaining three students fall into third class honours.

“Studying for the LLB Honours under the highly prestigious University of London International Programmes in a registered centre at SEGi, requires an assiduous attitude and perseverance to successfully complete the degree.

“The students of 2016–2017 have collectively accomplished this,” said SEGi principal Ivy Lau who commended her students over their academic performance.

SEGi is the only higher education institution in East Malaysia to offer high- quality internationally recognised law programmes.

The law faculty offers Pearson Edexcel A-Levels (Arts), Diploma in Law and Bachelor of Laws (LLB) programmes.

Its highly sought- after LLB is awarded by the University of London International Programmes ( UK), and offers the security of an internationally recognised degree.

SEGi is part of the premier regional higher education provider, SEGi University and Colleges offering quality employability-based international programmes on accessible terms, delivered through the most innovative technologies and student- centric learning techniques.

The institution now serves 25,000 students in five major campuses across Malaysia.
