Latin American Film Festival is back in town in November
KUALA LUMPUR: The Latin American Film Festival is back in town and ready to kick off next month, featuring 12 contemporary films to the Malaysian audience, free of charge.
Organised by the embassies of Latin American and Caribbean countries in Malaysia (GRULAC) comprising Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela, the festival is set to run from Nov 1 to 8, taking place exclusively at the GSC Pavilion KL.
Representing GRULAC, the Ambassador of Argentina to Malaysia, Manuel Balaguer said this year’s selection includes a wide range of genres, topic and style such as romance, comedy, drama, animation, documentary and horror.
He said the festival offers a perfect opportunity for Malaysians to see the world through the eyes of other culture and all films will be screened with the English subtitles. — Bernama
