Roxy Hotel opens today
KUCHING: Roxy Hotel, the latest hotel in the centre of Kuching City, officially opens its doors to guests today.
Located strategically at Jalan Batu Kawah, near the Third Mile roundabout, Roxy Hotel accommodates budget and family travellers but with a sense of luxury in mind.
According to its managing director Lee Chin Teck, the eight-storey hotel has 58 rooms which come with different room packages.
“We have the Superior Triple which is inclusive of breakfast for three pax, Superior Twin Room inclusive breakfast for two pax and Superior Double inclusive of two pax breakfast.
“The Superior Triple is priced at RM180 nett, while both Superior Twin and Superior Double are affordably priced at RM130 nett,” said Lee.
Lee added that Roxy Hotel also caters to the business and corporate entities, offering a conference room with facilities which can house up to 30 persons.
Another attraction of Roxy Hotel, according to Lee, Moon at the is the Cha Cha restaurant, located seventh floor of the hotel. “From this restaurant, guests and patrons of the restaurant will have a very nice view of Kuching City, Third Mile and its surrounding area and the view is even nicer at night,” he added. Lee also pointed that the Cha Cha Moon consists of 15 tables and can house about 150 guests at one time, offering a fusion of both local and western delights and offers halal food. “We flew in our special chef from Seremban, who has 10 years of experience in international fusion cuisine working in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and even Hong Kong,” said Lee, who added that the restaurant is ideal for small weddings, birthday parties and corporate dinners. Cha Cha Moon, according to Lee, offers i nt er n at iona l buffet every Sunday from 6.30pm to 10pm and is affordably priced at RM60 nett per pax, while ala carte menu is available daily from 6.30am to 10pm.
