‘Turn SMK Kampung Nangka into a school of choice’

SIBU: Parents, teachers and students are encouraged to help make SMK Kampung Nangka the school of choice for the people here.

The call was made by Sibu District Education Officer ( PPD) Wong Chong Kung, who is set to retire soon.

“Teachers, the parent-teacher association (PTA) and students must work hand-in-hand for the school to excel. Make SMK Kampung Nangka a school of choice for parents in Sibu.

“It is not something that is impossible. This can be done. If other schools can do it, why can’t SMK Kampung Nangka?

“So, parents, teachers and students should ponder on the challenge,” Wong said when officiating at the school’s annual prize day on Monday.

He also advised parents to continue to place strong emphasis on their children’s education, which he said is vital to ensure their children’s success in the future.
