Miri Marriott celebrates global customer appreciation week
MIRI: Miri Marriott Resort and Spa, the fi rst five- star hotel here, is celebrating its yearly Global Customer Appreciation Week (GCAW) – a week-long festival of community engagement from Nov 6 to 10.
It’s director of Sales and Marketing Patricia Santos said GCAW is simply a chance for them to personally thank guests and customers and to give something back to the local communities.
Activities for the week include ‘tea on us with Miri Resident Office’, ‘Breakfast with the press’, visit to loyal corporate clients with gifts and hosting a talk for Sarawak Children’s Cancer Society (SCCS) at the hotel’s ballroom.
“This year’s Global Customer Appreciation Week is a very special week for us, in addition to accomplishing all the things we set out to do as our way of saying ‘ Thank you’ to our customers, we are also able to partner with and assist a very worthy cause,” said Patricia yesterday during GCAW breakfast with exco members of the Northern Sarawak Journalists Association ( NSJA) led by its president Andy Jong.
The GCAW of Marriott is an excellent opportunity to highlight the outstanding guest services provided by the hotel and to reinforce relationships with business partners by showing appreciation and to thank them for their loyalty to the brand.
