SHAH ALAM: A total of 2,552 post-flood relief items were collected through the iM4UAEON ‘Stuff the Bus’ campaign held at seven AEON outlets in the Klang Valley last weekend.

Manager of Brand Management Group at iM4U, Wirda Mohd Ali said the public helped flood victims by purchasing and donating these items, namely multipurpose and laundry detergents, floor brushes and garbage bags from the selected AEON outlets on Dec 9 and 10.

“Items donated by the public will be used to clean areas affected by the flood across Malaysia, including surau and mosques, schools and community centres,” she told Bernama after attending the iM4U-AEON ‘Stuff the Bus’ campaign at AEON Shah Alam here yesterday.

Wirda urged the public to donate post-flood relief items through the second round of the campaign which started yesterday and would end today.

Shoppers can donate flood relief items from noon to 6pm at AEON Metro Prima Kepong, AEON AU2 Setiawangsa, AEON Wangsa Maju, AEON Cheras Selatan, AEON Shah Alam, AEON Bukit Tinggi Klang and AEON Rawang.

Among items needed are multipurpose detergents, floor brushes, garbage bags, laundry detergents and cleaning cloth.

iM4U chief executive officer, Rudy Malik said the campaign instilled the true meaning of volunteerism in the heart of the nation and encouraged people to be selfless and help those in need, especially in troubled times.
