AXA Affin Life Insurance Berhad appoints Rohit as CEO
KUCHING: AXA Affin Life Insurance Berhad yesterday announced the appointment of Rohit Chandrasekharan Nambiar as chief executive officer.
Rohit has more than 14 years of experience in the insurance industry and has educational qualifications covering entrepreneurship and Insurance.
He began his career at AXA as an Analyst with the Business Intelligence and Analytics team in India.
He has experience working across various departments and roles within India, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and board member experience in Vietnam with Bao Minh Insurance (of which AXA is a minority shareholder).
He has led AXA Asia’s successful customer experience transformation programme covering 17 entities. He also won the AXA Group chairman’s Award for 2015.
Prior to his present appointment, Rohit was Chief Transformation & Operations Officer at AXA Affin General Insurance from January 2016 and was in charge of Transformation, Operations, IT and Big Data.
Emmanuel Nivet, Country Manager for AXA Affin Malaysia remarked that Rohit has been instrumental in overseeing multiple transformation and industry first initiatives at AXA Affin General Insurance, including robotics process automation and the launch of Malaysia’s 1st telematics insurance proposition.
