-

KUALA LUMPUR: Haier, Chinese home appliances brand, has unveiled its first ‘ Experience Centre’, a new experiential showroom concept in Malaysia located at SetiaWalk, Puchong.

Haier Electrical Appliances ((M) Sdn Bhd’s managing director, Shi Zhiyuan, said the company was expected to open another two centres this year in Johor Bahru and Penang.

He said about RM1 million had been set aside to open the three centres which will showcase a wide range of products from mid- to high-end segments, focusing on refrigerators, washing machines, freezer, air-conditioning systems for both domestic and commercial use, light-emitting diode television sets and small appliances.

“We have taken into consideration the customers’ needs and understand that for someone to make a decision about a product, they need to be able to touch and feel it themselves.

“Perfect to home owners and new homeowners alike, the centre creates immersive experience into our products and solutions,” he told reporters at the launch of the Haier Experience Centre yesterday.

He said the store would also be designated as a centre of product excellence and education for the brand customers, especially dealers and business partners.

The centre would feature the latest in Haier technology and products innovation, said Shi.

Shi said a team of knowledgeable retail professionals would give expert information and advice to create finest experience by giving specialised demonstrations, consultation and support on Haier’s wide product range. — Bernama
