Elite retain 199 and Below Trios League crown
KUCHING: Elite emerged as champion and retained the MAW 199 & Below Trios League title on Thursday night at Megalanes Adventure World (MAW), King Centre.
Despite losing their Position Round match to VC United, Elite still had an advantage of 12.44 Peterson points at the end of the night.
VC United remained in second place while Legend triumphed 128 over 10 Pin Mafia to preserve their third place, merely 6.06 Peterson points ahead of 10 Pin Mafia.
Lucky also ended their league on a positive note at fifth position when they came out 13-7 victorious against Dynamic X, who finished at sixth place.
Mortal Bowler, Air Strike, GBUZZ and Charrott Charrott completed their league campaign in seventh to tenth spots respectively.
The prize presentation ceremony and mini-masters for this league will be held on Jan 18.
Muhd Mashruhin of Dynamic X won the Individual High Game award with his score of 271 pins in the first week while Kelvin Eng came in second with his effort of 269 pins in the seventh week.
Robert Lu of VC United grabbed the Individual High Series award with his total of 892 pins in the second week, followed by Edward Juit of Legend in second place after he registered 886 pins also in the second week.
Lucky came out on top for the Team High Game award after they knocked down 711 pins in the seventh week, while Elite finished second with their total of 682 pins attained in the second week.
As for the Team High Series award, Elite emerged on top after they registered 2,485 pins in the second week while Legend had to settle for second place with just one pin behind Elite.
