ML Educational Services to hold Scholarship Info Fair
SIBU: ML Educational Services Sdn Bhd will hold its Scholarship Info Fair on Sunday ( Feb 4) at Pullman Hotel Kuching from noon until 4pm.
Participants include Asia Pacific University (APU), Executive College, Crescendo International College, Southern University College, TMC College, and Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur ( IUKL).
There will be information on scholarships available, courses, admission requirements, tuition fees, future prospects, and accommodation. At APU, the courses include computing and technology, engineering, business management, and accounting.
Under a unique collaborative partnership with Staffordshire University, United Kingdom, APU students will be awarded two undergraduate degrees and transcripts for most degrees.
Students from East Malaysia are eligible for a 15 per cent tuition fee discount if they meet the entry requirements, while scholarships between 10 and 100 per cent will be offered for high academic achievements.
Those who excel in sports, either at state or national level, are entitled to scholarships of 25 to 40 per cent.
For IUKL, the courses on offer include engineering, business, architecture, biotechnology, and information technology.
IUKL also offers unique courses such as water and wastewater, landscape architecture, and sports management.
Those with at least 5A’s in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia, a cumulative grade point average ( CPGA) of 3.00 for Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia, or CGPGA of 3.5 for their foundation, are eligible for IUKL’s partial and full scholarships.
TMC College, established in 1997, offers courses such as beauty aesthetics, photographic and fashion make-up, and professional hairdressing.
Southern University College, previously known Southern College, is the first non-profit tertiary institute in Malaysia.
Courses offered include traditional Chinese medicine, mass communication, Chinese studies, and business.
Students will also have the opportunity to study in universities and colleges in Ireland such Dublin City University, University College Dublin, University of Limerick, Athlone Institute of Technology, Waterford Institute of Technology, Institute of Technology Tralee, Dundalk Institute of Technology, and Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology.
Ireland is the European hub for leading global companies such as Google, Facebook, and EA Games.
The Graduate Work Visa Scheme enables students to remain in Ireland to work for one year after the completion of their studies and no visa is required for Malaysian students in Ireland.
