SARIKEI: A recent management and administration workshop run by Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu ( PBB) Kuala Rajang branch gathered 50 grassroots leaders.

The participants comprised chairmen and secretaries of all PBB branches and sub-branches across Sarikei and Tanjong Manis zones. The workshop for Sarikei Zone held at Kampung Seberang Internet Centre was conducted by Attar Salleh, Rohana Kiprawi, Allif Omar and Mazyani Yahya; while Islamiah Razali was the facilitator of the workshop for Tanjong Manis Zone at Tanjung Manis Service Centre.

“The main objective of the workshop is to enhance knowledge in organisational administration and management.

“It is also in line with Kuala Rajang assemblyman Datu Len Talif Saleh’s call for all PBB branches and sub-branches to function in an organised manner,” said a spokesman of the organising committee.

Len also wanted all branches and subbranches to have up-to- date membership records. The workshop exposed participants to vital knowledge such as digital applications, office management, record and filing system, correspondence, recording of minutes of meeting, as well as basic accounting and book-keeping.

The spokesman said similar workshops would be conducted for youth and women members of the PBB branches and subbranches.
