RedONE hits 1 million subscribers
PUCHONG: Hitting the 1 million cap may be old news for others, but not for redONE Network Sdn Bhd (redONE).
The last quarter of 2017 was redONE’s glorious achievement in acquiring 1 million subscribers within five years of operation since it was first introduced to the Malaysian telco market as a Mobile Virtual Network Operator ( MVNO).
As a token of appreciation for the continuous support it has been receiving from the public since 2012, redONE made a significant revamp from its Amazing48 Postpaid plan to the all-new Amazing48+.
Officially launched on May 1, 2018, the Amazing48+ Postpaid plan is granted an astounding upgrade of high speed data quota where subscribers can now enjoy 15GB of 4G LTE data.
Replacing the previous postpaid plan known as Amazing48, this new postpaid plan is set to be a permanent member to redONE Postpaid’s family.
Existing redONE Postpaid subscribers are also given the opportunity to upgrade to the all-new Amazing48+ plan to experience the same enhancement as the new subscribers.
There is no change in terms of price as subscribers still get to enjoy the plan at RM50.88 per month inclusive of 6 per cent GST.
On top of that, both new and upgraded existing subscribers will also be treated to a free two-month trial subscription of dimsum, a subscription-based video- ondemand service in Malaysia, Brunei and Singapore (via Starhub Go) serving the best Asian content.

Enhanced postpaid plan is not the only token of appreciation that redONE is offering to its users.
Also starting May 1, 2018 due to high demand, redONE has opened up redCALL, a monthly recurring value- added services ( VAS) that was previously only available to the Amazing48 subscribers, to its Amazing28 subscribers too.
Amazing28 users can now make unlimited voice calls to all networks in Malaysia at an additional RM10.60 per month inclusive of 6 per cent GST.
Other enhanced VAS service offered is redVIDEO, available for all redONE Postpaid subscribers to purchase.
redVIDEO streaming time has been extended from 7pm to 7am and those who purchased it can stream YouTube daily until the exclusive 10GB 4G LTE data quota allocated for redVIDEO is fi nished.
They can choose to repurchase the service if they wish to continue streaming YouTube. redONE is also planning to add in more video-streaming platforms in the near future.
