afternoon, and everything is back to normal.”

The source, however, declined to elaborate on what was discussed during the meeting and if payment was made to the landlord.

On Monday, Lawas MP Datuk Henry Sum Agong said he would be meeting with the relevant parties to resolve the issue. This was after photos of the chained premises, located in the middle of Lawas town, went viral on social media.

A banner hung in front of the premises stated that 30 months’ rent had not been paid. Sarawak Health director Dr Jamilah Hashim in a statement issued the same day said the arrears were for the years 2014, 2017, and 2018.
