Tickets still available for Diabetes Malaysia dinner

MIRI: Tickets are still available for the Diabetes Malaysia Miri branch fundraising dinner on July 14 at Meritz Hotel.

Chairwoman Ting Chiew Moi said the tickets are priced at RM100 and RM200 each, with proceeds going to the nationallevel diabetes camp in August.

“It requires a lot of financial support to organise a three-day twonight camp at such level. Therefore, we are targeting to raise at least RM40,000 to help fund the camp as one of our efforts to create greater awareness of the disease,” Ting said in a press release yesterday.

The highlight of the charity dinner would be performances by recording artistes Stephen Seah Gua Wen from Malaysia and Michelle Hsieh Cai Yun from Taiwan.

“We are delighted to let the fans know beforehand that Hsieh will be putting up an extraordinary performance that they’ve ever seen before,” Ting said.

Seah, who is known as Malaysia’s Fei Yu Qing, will present several oldies.

There will also be performances by Broadway Dance Studio and local singing academies.
