Health talk focuses on cancer, heart disease

MIRI: The Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Miri district and Pustaka Negeri Sarawak Miri are jointly organising a health talk focusing on factors related to cancer and heart disease to be held on June 30.

Dr Uma Devi, the spokespers­on for the organisers, said Dr Wong Ang Peng who is the director of Dr Rath Health Foundation Society, South East Asia will deliver the talk at the library’s audio-visual (AV) room from 10am to 12 noon.

“At the talk, the public will learn and be exposed among others to the causes of the disease, the dispersion of cancer in the body and functions of synergy of specific nutrients in stopping the disease.

“The talk too will touch on reasons why cholestero­l from food cannot be the contributi­ng factor to heart disease, how arterioscl­erotic deposits can be reversed without by-pass surgery or angioplast­y, and ways to improve your health effectivel­y with Dr Rath’s scientific breakthrou­ghs and researches,” said Dr Uma in a press statement.

She urged the public to make an effort to come and obtain first-hand informatio­n from Dr Wong who has dedicated his life to natural health and helping patients with major chronic diseases such as heart disease and cancer using Dr Rath’s micronutri­ents synergy.

“NGOs, insurance companies, bankers, business community, teachers and those who have family members who are facing health issues and concerned about health in general should come to the talk.

“Dr Wong has been invited many times to give talks in Miri and willing to come inspite of his tight schedule. He travels monthly to see patients and give talks in places like Brunei, Singapore, Sabah, Ipoh among others,” she said.

Dr Uma added as a scientist, Dr Wong has produced numerous research papers related to health and written books.

“He is passionate about his work and many testimonia­ls whereby diseases can be reversed.

“He will be sharing two hours of amazing successful cases where health conditions were reversed.

“In this era, it is common to find more young people having few health issues including mental issues which are sadly on the increase due to lifestyle, increased consumptio­n of processed food and most importantl­y difficulty in dealing with stress.

Members of the public are thus encouraged to attend the talk as admission is free.
