Musketeers lose battle but win corporate war over MedixCare

KUCHING: The Musketeers wrapped up their Megalanes Adventure Worl d ( MAW) Corporate League campaign with a 22.40 Peterson points advantage over Medixcare despite losing their Position Round match 7-13 to the latter.

The Musketeers, consisting of Edward Juit, Herman Shah, Hal imah A r i f f in, Abang Dzulkernae­n and Abang Madzlan, racked up a total of 452.05 Peterson points over 12 rounds of league matches.

MedixCare, represente­d by bowlers from the Health Ministry namely Muhd Syari fuddin, Fizalyhan Sadies, Abdul Muhaimin Fitri, Fakhri Jasmi, Patrick Naga, Dr Kamarudin and Nurafidza Amran, had accumulate­d 429.65 points.

In third position were PSKPP, represente­d by personnel from the Education Ministry, who registered a big 18-2 win against Mariners.

TM Code X maintained their fifth position with a 12- 8 victory over MACC who finished sixth while CJ7 remained in seventh position after their 14- 6 win against KUPORT Team.

Putra J Bowlers, KUPORT Team, Balcam Bowlers and Advocated ended up from eighth to 12th placings respective­ly.

Meanwhile, Muhd Hafis of KUPORT Team grabbed the Individual High Game award followed by Edward Juit of The Musketeers.

Edward Juit, however, wrapped up the Individual High Series award ahead of Hipni Morni from Mariners.

Medixcare also captured the Team High Game award with their total of 693 pins during the Position Round match while The Musketeers came in second. Medixcare were also awarded the Team High Series after they knocked down 2,451 pins followed by Putra J Bowlers with 2,443 pins.
