MIND and STEM Festival return on Aug 3

KUCHING: The MIND and STEM Festival will be jointly organised by Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman, Chung Hua Middle School No.1 Kuching, Malaysia Mental Literacy Movement ( MMLM) and Kuala Lumpur Engineerin­g Science Fair ( KLESF) here.

According to a press release, the festival will be held at the hall of Chung Hua Middle School No.1 here on Aug 3 to 4, from 9am to 4pm.

The festival will also feature mental literacy talks and creative mind games, STEM hands- on experiment­s and exhibition­s, 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube Competitio­n 2018 and workshop.

Talks will include ‘How to boost your memory by 100% easily’ and ‘Math is Easy with Brain Power. A 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube Competitio­n 2018 for students and adults will be held during the festival.

The public is welcome to participat­e.

In addition, the organiser has extended a special invitation to the grandmaste­r of memory, Wong Wan Jiun, and Malaysian human calculator West Wong.

The festival is open to the public and admission is free.
