LIFETIME AWARD: AirAsia co-founder, AirAsia Group Bhd executive chairman and AirAsia X Group chief executive officer Datuk Kamarudin Meranun (fifth left) garnered the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award at the 8th Global Leadership Awards held in Kuala Lumpur. The coveted award was conferred on Datuk Kamarudin for his remarkable career, deep dedication in spearheading corporate and community development and his continued efforts in steering AirAsia to greater heights. The award was presented by Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Datuk Mohd Azis Jamman (fourth left) together with The Leaders International Magazine CEO Shahul Hameed Dawood (third left) and American Leadership Development Association (ALDA) founder Arthur Carmazzi (sixth left). BURSA DEBUT: Radiant Globaltech Bhd managing director Paul Yap Ban Foo Yap (third left) accompanied by the boad of directors hits the gong to officiate Radiant Globaltech’s listing on Bursa’s ACE Market on Tuesday. The group made its debut on the Bursa Malaysia Ace Market at 50 sen, for a 27 sen premium above its issue price of 23 sen a share. Of the proceeds, RM14.6 million would be allocated for business and capital expansion (RM10 million for Malaysia, RM1.6 million for Vietnam and the rest for other software expansion). BIG WIN: Standard Chartered Saadiq Berhad wins big at The Asset Triple A Islamic Finance Awards, showcasing the extensive cross-border global network that Standard Chartered possesses.
