TGV Cinemas looks forward to opening at Boulevard Bintulu

MIRI: CEO of TGV Cinemas, Yeoh Oon Lai recently visited the constructi­on site of Boulevard Shopping Mall Bintulu.

Yeoh was very pleased with the progress of the shopping mall set to open in June 2019 and for TGV Cinemas to be fully operationa­l at the same time.

“It will be the ultimate destinatio­n for movie lovers and families in Bintulu. With TGV Cinemas Family Friendly Hall equipped with lower audio volume and brighter hall lights for the comfort of toddlers as well as diaper changing facilities, parents can now go to movies with their kids more often,” said Yeoh.

TGV Cinemas pioneered the multiplex cinema concept and has 268 screens in 34 multiplexe­s located in major cities. It is the first to introduce digital IMAX theatre system in Malaysia, the ‘ Beanieplex’ movie hall and a new luxury concept cinema called Indulge which combines fine- dining with a posh cinema experience.

Yeoh added that TGV Cinemas also offers customised packages for corporate events, private parties, and charity fund raising events.

He was joined by project manager Lee Pak Kiong and CEO of Boulevard Group Don Yew Hoon.

Boulevard Shopping Mall Bintulu is an integrated commercial developmen­t comprising an 18-storey four-star deluxe Imperial Hotel, convention centre, grand ballroom, 201 units serviced apartments with more than 250,000 square feet of retail space over 4 floors which will also house the first bowling centre in Bintulu. Two basement levels will provide more than 1,000 parking bays connected to the mall by travelator­s, escalators and elevators.
