Ex-Highians to give out study awards at BGM
KUCHING: Ex- Highians’ Association Kuching will be holding its 27th biennial general meeting ( BGM) at The Happy Diners Restaurant, Crown Square on Aug 5.
Re- election of the new executive committee members for the term 2018-2010 will be held during the event, said a media statement Thursday. All members of the association are invited to attend the meeting.
The association will also be giving out study awards to members’ children based on 2016 and 2017 academic results in schools as well as in public examinations at the event. All recipients are required to attend the ceremony in neat attire.
They are Benjamin Tan Ding Xuan, Hong Jia Jia, Hong Jia Jie, Hong Jia Jing, Issac Tan Hak Shun, Joey Chai Yun Xin, Edmund Ting Wei Han, Tan Harn Xi, Alfred Ting Wei Hong and Nathan Tan Hak Li (of primary school level); Tan Jean Yang ( UPSR); Phoebe Ting Wei Jia, Randy Lim Yee Han and Samuel Then Shi Jie (secondary school level); and Cheryl Tan Shen Wey ( PT3) for the year 2016.
Also receiving the awards are Benjamin Tan Ding Xuan, Ionna Chang Yu Tung, Hong Jia Jie, Issac Tan Hak Shun, Edmund Ting Wei Han and Tan Harn Xi ( primary school level); Alfred Ting Wei Hong, Gerald Chai Chern Xun, Lim Tong Enn, Nathan Tan Hak Li and Selina Then Shi Miin (UPSR); Tan Jean Yang, Phoebe Ting Wei Jia, Randy Lim Yee Han, Samuel Then Shi Jie, Tan Ik Xuan and Cheryl Tan Shen Wey (secondary school level); Glynis Jung Jia Qi, Hong Jia Jun and Then Tai Yu ( PT3); Phoebe Tan Ee Jen and Teo Hao Jing (SPM) and Envy Teo Pei Yen (STPM) for last year.
