Lone Ranger strike big win over Silent Warrior to maintain lead
KUCHING: Lone Ranger kept their strong momentum going on top of the Megalanes Adventure World 159 & Below Trios League table as they recorded the biggest win of the week by defeating Silent Warrior 17- 3.
Second placed Putra J Bowlers are also keeping up with the pace after they managed a 12- 8 victory over Last Menet Bowlers while Charrott Charrott 2 improved their position to third following a 12- 8 Victory over Borneo Pin Hunters.
After six weeks of competition, Lone Ranger, Putra J Bowlers and Charrott Charrott 2 now have accumulated 203.59, 197.02 and 187.68 Peterson points respectively.
Silent Killer slipped to fourth position as a result of their defeat at the hands of Charrott Charrott 1 while 77 United Bowlers remained in fifth position despite scoring a huge 16- 4 win over Advocates.
Meanwhile, Mohd Abdul Hadi of Putra J Bowlers and Awang Erewin of Charrott Charrott still maintain their first and second positions for the Individual High Game category whi le Abdul Hadi still leads the Individual High Series category, with Muhd Firdaus of Lone Ranger in second position.
At the same time, Lone Ranger still leads both the Team High Game and Team High Series categories, with Charrott Charrott 2 in second place for the Team High Game category and Putra J Bowlers in second place for the Team High Series category.
Yusralina Yusof of 77 United Bowlers remained in contention for the Best Ladies Award with her score of 698 pins.
