RMAF to hold open selection for rank and file, women cadets
SIBU: The Royal Malaysian Air Force ( RMAF) will hold an open preliminary selection for its rank and fi le and women cadets, at Rascom Camp, Mile 10 of Oya Road here tomorrow (Aug 7).
According to Malaysian Armed Forces Veterans Association Sarawak president Thomas Ling, registration will run from 8am to 9am that day.
“All interested applicants are required to put on sportswear for the registration session.
“They are also required to bring along the completed application forms which they can download from the Internet, plus original and photo copies of the relevant documents,” he said when met by reporters recently.
Thomas said the application forms can be downloaded via www.airforce.mil/ kerjaya/pengambilan-terkini.

Ling said a similar selection exercise would also take place at Angkasa Hall in Kuching Air Force Base this Aug 9.
He called upon all the interested Sarawakians, particularly the Chinese, who are eligible to grab this opportunity to join as the RMAF women cadets.
“Let us all work hand in hand, together with our Bumiputera friends, in serving and protecting our beloved Malaysia against any form of threats from intruders,” he added.
