MIRI: A delegation from Gerik District Council ( MDG) in Perak conducted a working visit to Miri City Council ( MCC) yesterday.

The arrival of the 25 visitors, led by MDG secretary Roslan Kamaruzaman, was welcomed by MCC secretary Morshidi Fredrick who represented Miri Mayor Adam Yii.

The MDG delegates, who arrived here on Saturday, are scheduled to return to Perak today.

“The main objective of this working visit is for us to learn from MCC, as well as to get first-hand information on how the council manages the city’s infrastructure development, public facilities and traffic,” said Roslan.

In addition to this, he said MDG would also want to gain experience from MCC in the aspects of tourism management and promotions.
