Eddie Peng dating rumours send fans into frenzy
TAIPEI: Taiwanese actor Eddie Peng has had his fair share of attractive girlfriends but his most recent rumoured girlfriend has created a buzz and sent fans into a frenzy.
The 36-year-old actor is reportedly dating 49-year-old Summer Qing. Although Eddie’s previous girlfriends have all been hearsay, the sudden buzz about him dating someone 13 years his senior shocked fans.
In the mid-2000s, Eddie was rumoured to have been dating Jolin Tsai. They were spotted travelling together in London. Jolin was also seen spending the night at Eddie’s home. However, their relationship reportedly ended in 2009.
After filming a music video alongside Shu Qi in 2010, romantic rumours began flying. Although Shu Qi is six years older, Eddie half-heartedly joked at the time that he would not mind dating someone older, so long as the person was not as old as his grandmother.
In 2014, Lyla Lin, who is a member of the girl group Roomie, was spotted visiting Eddie’s home in Taipei and staying for more than two hours.
Eddie was also romantically linked with Dada Chan and Janine Chang. While filming ‘Sound of Desert’ in 2014, his undeniable onscreen chemistry with Cecilia Liu purportedly stemmed from mutual attraction in real life. However, despite the numerous dating rumours, none were ever confirmed. In fact, Eddie has been quite successful in keeping his love life away from media attention.
