Kozin to hold Aussie, UK property showcase in Penang this weekend

-

MIRI: Kozin Real Estate will hold an Australia and United Kingdom property showcase at Bayview Hotel in Georgetown, Penang this weekend (Sept 15 and 16).

The event will take place in the Sri Nilam Room on Level 2 of the hotel, from 11am to 6pm.

Kozin and its associates will be on the ground to answer enquiries and is confident that buyers will have good returns at the best value for their money.

The realtor also provides endtoend service for Australian property buyers by guiding buyers throughout the process – from acquisition to inspection, or letting.

“It has never been a better time to buy Australian property. There is a supply of completed properties across Australia, and it is now easier to locate a ready property which you can inspect and move in immediately.

“In Perth, properties have never been this affordable in years. There are many deals and promotions you will be able to snatch in Australia at this time, even off the plan,” said Peter Ling, who is Kozin’s Australian property specialist.

In addition, he noted that the Melbourne market is still very strong, and it remains a highly regarded city for its world- class education.

“Nevertheless, things will not remain this way for long. For instance in Western Australia, where Perth is located, the government is planning a seven per cent foreign levy beginning January next year,” said Ling.

This means that any purchase of Western Australian properties will incur a seven per cent tax, just for being a foreigner. Act now and secure your Perth property before this law comes to effect, he added.

Apart from Australian properties, Kozin will also be featuring properties in the UK during the event.

Their complete property services include lettings, management, tax advisory and accounting, furnishing and refurbishment.

“There is still strong global demand for UK properties even after Brexit, with London’s Walkie-Talkie skyscraper sold to Hong Kong’s Lee Kum Kee for £1.3 billion and the Cheesegrater building sold to China’s CC Land for £1.15 billion.

“London rental properties are needed at all-time high. They are easily managed from anywhere in the world. There is no minimal entry price and you can resell to any global investors,” said Ling, adding that London is a global city and a hub for fi nance, education, culture, fashion, technology, medicine and engineering.

Hence, investors and property buyers are encouraged to attend this event for London tax advice or any other issues related to their London properties.

During the two days of the event, there will be a UK property seminar at 2pm and an Australian property seminar at 2.30pm.
