Anmum’s ‘Less is More’ roadshow highlights formula’s zero-sugar feature

SIBU: A three- day Anmum roadshow begins today at Farley Supermarke­t at Salim Road here.

The ‘ Less is More’ event organised by Anmum Essential seeks to emphasise to parents that ‘more’ is not always the best option, especially when it comes to formulated milk powder with added sugar.

“Parents have always wanted the best for their children in everything, be it education, nutrition or even material items like toys or clothes.

“But the ‘ best’ isn’t always what we think it is,” said a press statement yesterday.

Citing statistics from the National Health and Morbidity Survey, it said more than six per cent of children in Malaysia under the age of five have been identified as overweight.

About 12 per cent of children and teenagers under the age of 18 are also classified as overweight or obese.

“Children do not need excessive added sugar. So why have it in your child’s formulated milk powder?

“Anmum Essential is the only formulated milk powder for children with zero per cent added- sugar and 100 per cent goodness of milk,” the statement added.

The statement pointed out that with Mind- Q Connect, Anmum milk powder contains DHA and twice more gangliosid­es, allowing parents to maximise their children’s brain cells connection through proper stimulatio­n and good nutrition.

“Don’t be afraid to give less to your kids, because you’re helping them get more out of life.”

Anmum Essential representa­tives will be available during the roadshow, which runs from 11am to 9pm during the threeday period, to answer questions on Anmum’s range of formulated milk powders for children.

“Get your kids engaged by letting them participat­e in the fun activities, and get gifts with purchases.”
