KGBS plays host to West Malaysia Teachers Union

SIBU: West Malaysia Teachers Union ( KGMMB), one of the largest teachers unions in the country, paid a courtesy visit on Sarawak Bumiputera Teachers Union ( KGBS) in Kuching recently.

The entourage comprised 13 senior KGMMB officials, led by its president Jasni Md Kechik.

According to Jasni, the visit was to enhance closer rapport between the two teachers unions.

During the courtesy call, both unions had a closed- door discussion on current issues related to education to be brought to a joint meeting with the Education Ministry’s Human Resources Division in Putrajaya this Tuesday.

KGBS will be led by its president Ahmad Malie at the meeting.
