Red Crescent members bring cheer to welfare home residents
KUCHING: MembersofMalaysian Red Crescent SJK Chung Hua No. 5 and SMK Bandar Kuching No.1 brought cheer to residents of Hun Nam Siang Tng at the Home off Jalan Sekama here last Saturday.
They organised a half- day ‘We Care’ event at the Home from 10am to spread happiness and joy to residents there.
“This community service aims to educate the members to love, respect, appreciate and care for residents of the Home. Besides, it also teaches them to love and appreciate their parents,” it said in a media release yesterday.
Various activities including singing, dancing, lucky draw were held in conjunction with the event during which lunch and dinner treats were prepared by The BanQuet restaurant.
The statement added that the residents of the Home were very happy enjoying the activities.
