Hailee Steinfeld to produce new Netflix movie

HAILEE Steinfeld is set to star in and produce new Netfl ix movie ‘Idol’.

The 21-year- old singer- andactress will play a rising star who leaves her job as an assistant to a huge star to launch her own music career.

As well as starring in the fi lm and producing, Steinfeld is also providing her own vocals to the soundtrack, which is being released via Federal Films, a leg of Republic Records; Hailee’s record label.

The script is being penned by Matt King and ‘War For The Planet Of The Apes’ helmer Matt Reeves is producing with his own 6th And Idaho alongside the streaming service.

Steinfeld’s next role sees her portray the lead character in the ‘ Transformers’ spin- off movie ‘Bumblebee’. — BANG Showbiz
