12 receive grants amounting to RM63,000
MIRI: Twelve organisations and bodies here received grants amounting to RM63,000 to help them run and organise their activities and programmes from the Sarawak government yesterday.
The grants under the minor rural projects (MRP) fund were handed over to the recipients by Assistant Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Lee Kim Shin at SUPP Senadin office in Permyjaya.
The recipients were Sekolah (A) Majlis Islam Sarawak ParentsTeachers Association (PTA), SMK Agama Miri (PTA), Kelab Usahawan Ikhtiar Miri, Miri Buddhist Bodhisattva Believers, Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Melayu Miri, SK Kuala Baram 2, Miri PTA, Kolej Vokasional Miri PTA, Kampung Pujut Adong Kemas Kindergarten Committee, Pertubuhan Hiburan Sistem Baru Miri, 11th Piasau Seascout, Miri Hakka Association and Junior Chamber International Miri.
