12 receive grants amounting to RM63,000

MIRI: Twelve organisati­ons and bodies here received grants amounting to RM63,000 to help them run and organise their activities and programmes from the Sarawak government yesterday.

The grants under the minor rural projects (MRP) fund were handed over to the recipients by Assistant Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Lee Kim Shin at SUPP Senadin office in Permyjaya.

The recipients were Sekolah (A) Majlis Islam Sarawak ParentsTea­chers Associatio­n (PTA), SMK Agama Miri (PTA), Kelab Usahawan Ikhtiar Miri, Miri Buddhist Bodhisattv­a Believers, Lembaga Amanah Kebajikan Melayu Miri, SK Kuala Baram 2, Miri PTA, Kolej Vokasional Miri PTA, Kampung Pujut Adong Kemas Kindergart­en Committee, Pertubuhan Hiburan Sistem Baru Miri, 11th Piasau Seascout, Miri Hakka Associatio­n and Junior Chamber Internatio­nal Miri.
