Elite grab lead, Team Joss keep top spot

KUCHING: Elite surged to the top of the MAW 199 & Below Trios League table standings after securing a 12-8 win over Legend on Monday night.

They have accumulate­d 205.86 Peterson points after six weeks of competitio­n to lead Mortal Bowlers by 2.06 Peterson points after the latter lost 5-15 10 Pin Mafia.

That win also shot 10 Pin Mafia up to third position while Lucky slipped to fourth after their 5-15 defeat at the hands of VC United.

Currently in fifth position are Legend, with VC United, Putra J Bowlers and Borneo Pin Hunters occupying sixth to eighth positions respective­ly.

In the meantime, Nurafidza Amran of Legend is still holding on to the lead for the Individual High game category, followed by Alvin Andrew of Lucky in second position.

Kelvin Eng of 10 Pin Mafia remains the leader for the Individual High Series categories, with Edward Juit of Lucky in second position.

Meanwhile, both the Team High Game and Team High Series categories are still being dominated by Elite and 10 Pin Mafia, with Elite spearheadi­ng the Team High Game and 10 Pin Mafia leading the Team High Series.

In the MAW 159 & Below Trios League that was played on Wednesday night, Team Joss kept their top spot despite being held to a 10-10 draw by Supergirl.

They now only command a slight 0.96 Peterson points lead over Charrott Charrott 7 who surged to second position in the league following their 15-5 win over Pin Buster. Brothers Gengs climbed up to third position following their 12.5-7.5 triumph over Borneo Pin Hunters who slipped down to fourth position.

Last Menet Bowlers also dropped to fifth position as a result of their 4-16 loss to SDO Bowlers who escalated to sixth position.

Meanwhile, Beverly Mias of Borneo Pin Hunters remains the leader for the Individual High Game category ahead of Mohd AlAmin of Team Joss.

At the same time, Linda Judah of Supergirl is the current leader for the Individual High Series category, with Eriman Yazid of Charrott Charrott 7 in second position.

Last Menet Bowlers currently lead the Team High Game category, followed by Brothers Gengs in second position.

On the contrary, Brothers Gengs are ahead of Charrott Charrott 7 for the Team High Series category.

Last but not least, Linda Judah also leads the Best Ladies Award category.
