Petronas completes first commercial GUCD services in Bintulu

Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas), through its subsidiary Petronas LNG Ltd ( PLL), completed its first commercial Gassing Up and Cooling Down (GUCD) services at the Bintulu LNG terminal recently. The GUCD is a specialise­d service to bring the storage tanks on LNG carriers, after dry- docking, to a natural environmen­t and cool it down to cryogenic temperatur­e (minus 160 degrees Celcius) before loading its next cargo. RedBox, AirAsia’s logistics arm, has been named as Shopee’s logistics partner for East Malaysia, effective December 1, 2018. Under the agreement, RedBox will assume crossborde­r logistics services to East Malaysia for the leading e- commerce platform in Asean and Taiwan, starting with direct delivery of goods from Shenzhen to Kota Kinabalu and Kuching.
