Speakers club members meet to chart programmes

-

BINTULU: Members of the Impact Matters Agora Speakers Club 75 ( IMASC) Bintulu recently held their first get together and meeting here to chart the club’s programmes.

IMASC is an approved and registered body with the Registrar of Society ( ROS) whose objectives are to provide the public with an affordable platform for leadership, membership development, public speaking and debating skills in English.

It is affiliated with Agora Speakers International which is a worldwide non-profit association of passionate volunteers devoted to helping people develop their public speaking, communication, critical thinking, debating and leadership skills.

Public speaking and presentation skills are critical to success in the workplace and many people pay high fees for seminars to gain the knowledge and confidence necessary to face an audience.

Agora provides an option that is less expensive and held in high regard in business circles. It is a proven and enjoyable platform to practice and hone communication and leadership skills.

Those interested to join the club can contact Peter Voon at 0198842484 or follow the club facebook and Instagram for updates.

Members of the public, corporation, individual, nongovernmental organisations and clubs are most welcome to partake with IMASC in its community outreach projects.
