Youth group responds to call from SGH blood bank
KUCHING: Kuching Teochew Association Youth Section will hold a blood donation drive at the second f loor of Aeon Mall Kuching Central on Nov 18 from 10am to 3pm.
Facilitated by the Federation of Kuching, Samarahan and Serian Divisions Chinese Associations Youth Section and supported by Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) Blood Bank and Malaysian Red Crescent Kuching Chapter, the drive aims to increase awareness of saving lives through blood donation.
“It is in response to a call from SGH to replenish supply in the blood bank,” said a press release yesterday.
The organisers appeal to regular donors and members of the public to support the upcoming event. Successful donors will receive amazing free gifts from sponsors while stocks last.
The organisers extended their appreciation to the main sponsors Lee Onn Group of Companies and Hock Peng Organisation.
