Zenyie Furniture makes final stop at Myy Mall, Miri
MIRI: Traveling marble furniture and arts dealer Zenyie Furniture is making its final stop here for this year with an exhibition at the concourse area of Myy Mall, Lutong.
The month-long exhibition which started from Nov 9 till Dec 9, showcases many beautiful marble furniture and oil paintings.
For homeowners and marble furniture enthusiasts, they can find a host of reasonably priced marble dining sets from as low as RM800 up to RM8,000 with sizes from three feet up to six feet in diameter.
Apart from the usual round shape, there are also table tops that come in rectangular and oval shapes complete with chairs.
Among exotic items one can find here is the huge translucent sixfoot crystal white marble dining set from Vietnam.
There are also a variety of dining sets with granite table tops. Although darker in colour, they are considerably much harder than marble and like marble, granite can last for generations.
For its footing, the polished marble slabs are matched with Nyatoh wood, which is a hard wood known for its strength and durability.
The dining chairs are also made of Nyatoh wood.
Zenyie’s proprietor Ng Kim Hoi said any customer who purchases a Nyatoh wood marble dining set could receive a free oil painting regardless the price of the furniture.
He opined that Nyatoh wood marble dining sets are difficult to find these days as many footing comes with other types of wood, for instance rubber wood.
Regardless of the pricing, he said since the implementation of the Sales and Service Tax ( SST), prices of these furniture has increased a ‘ little bit’ but he considers his prices as one of the lowest in the market right now.
And for art collectors be sure not to miss the art exhibition which showcases many Fung Shui oil paintings that depict picturesque landscapes mountains, waterfalls and koi fish that are believed to boost the luck in your living spaces.
There are also paintings depicting stunning images of landscapes, flowers and animals being sold at affordable prices.
