Ruco Chan denies Phoebe was pregnant when they got married

HONG KONG: Actor Ruco Chan has denied that his wife Phoebe Sin was pregnant when they got married.

Phoebe is in the third month of her pregnancy, and their child is expected to be born either in April or May.

Ruco does not mind having either a boy or a girl, but Phoebe prefers a boy to perpetuate the family lineage.

Reports are speculating whether Ruco and Phoebe had abruptly got married because of her pregnancy.

Ruco was the first to announce the news on social media. He wrote: “Baby is on the way. 2018 has been an unforgettable year. I now have another responsibility! I look forward to your arrival!”

In her corresponding online post, Phoebe wrote, “Looking forward to the arrival of piggy.”

When posed this question during a promotional event, Ruco replied: “Many friends asked if we got married because of the pregnancy or if we had accomplished this within a month.

“You think we are machines where we can put something in and get something out? Children are the gift of God! Early last year, I did an interview, and said I wanted to get married.

“Thus, we started preparing for the occasion. We found out about the good news while we were having our wedding photos taken in England.”

Ruco added that in keeping with Chinese tradition, they had chosen not to announce the pregnancy back then.
