Adtec Bintulu holds pre-graduation dinner for final year students
BINTULU: A total of 130 final year students of the Advanced Technology Training Centre (Adtec) Bintulu, 50 trainers and staff attended a pregraduation dinner and Adtec alumni gathering at a hotel here recently.
Forty alumni members including 10 representatives of industries joined the ‘ Havana’ themed event organised by Adtec Bintulu’s Student Representative Council.
The dinner was held specially for students in their final semester who will undergo industrial training before completing their studies at Adtec Bintulu.
The event spokesman said through the gathering they hoped to foster closer ties among the students, trainers and representatives of industries and also promote greater collaboration.
The students were also given the opportunity to perform and showcase their arts performing talents during the event.
Also present were Adtec Bintulu director Nasaruddin Mohammad, acting deputy director of Management Training and head of Electrical and Electronics Department Sudirman Hammade, Resource Management deputy director Donny Sadin Kachon, assistant director of Student and Training Division Hassan Lee and representatives of industries.
