Tay Motors look set to clinch league crown

KUCHING: Tay Motors continued with their fi ne form as they stay atop of the Tay Motors 198 & Below after registerin­g a 13-7 win against Highlander II on Sunday night.

With the Posit ion Round matches in store this weekend, Tay Motors look set to clinch the league title ahead of their encounter with second-positioned Elite.

Lucky climbed up to third position after their 16- 4 victory over VC United whi le Frenz occupied fourth position following their 11- 9 win over Elite.

PBA Ace also improved to fi fth position as a result of their huge 16- 4 win over Strike Hunter II to set up a Position Round match with sixth-placed Highlander II.

Mohd Fauzi Mohamad of Frenz overtook the lead for the Individual High Game category from Jonathan Tchee of Tay Motors whereas Willie Chung from Elite remains ahead of Ang Kean Joo from Tay Motors for the Individual High Series category.

At the same time, Elite continued to dominate both the Team High Game and Team High Series categories, with VC United and Tay Motors in second place for both categories.
