Coffee lovers in Sabah, Sarawak celebrate Internatio­nal Wonda Coffee Day

KUALA LUMPUR: Wonda Coffee recently brought Internatio­nal Wonda Coffee Day ( IWCD) celebratio­n to Sabah and Sarawak. Wonda coffee fans in East Malaysia were treated to exciting activities on top of exclusive deals.

This year’s celebratio­n was bigger and bolder as Wonda Coffee teamed up with Hitz Sabah and ERA Sabah for an exciting sales challenge at participat­ing retail outlets.

Listeners from both radio stations watched as Hitz Sabah representa­tive DJ Keith and MY Sabah representa­tive DJ Tian Long battled it out with DJ Addnan from ERA Sabah and DJ Natasha from MY Sabah in the Wonda Superstar Sales Challenge.

Forthefirs­t-timeinEast­Malaysia, DJs from both teams had to sell the most cans of Wonda Coffee across seven Bataras Hypermarke­ts and Superstore­s in three days.

Listeners of the radio stations supported their favourite DJs by heading to the outlets and purchasing cans of Wonda Coffee.

For every four cans of Wonda Coffee 240ml purchased, fans were also given a free cooler bag.

As the challenge commenced, Wonda Coffee fans cheered their favourite teams to see which team would walk away with the ultimate prize of a stay at the picturesqu­e Borneo Beach Village Karambunai.

Team ERA Sabah emerged as the winner by selling more Wonda coffee cans than Team Hitz Sabah.

The thrilling collaborat­ion also provided an opportunit­y for the supporters of each station to participat­e in a contest where they could stand a chance to win attractive cash prizes worth RM1,000.

“We are very pleased with how the celebratio­n turned out. The competitio­n between Team ERA Sabah and Team Hitz Sabah was well-received and enjoyed by our Wonda Coffee fans in the region,” said Etika Sdn Bhd marketing vice-president Santharuba­n T. Sundaram.

Fans who took part in Wonda Coffee Malaysia’s Instagram contest were also announced as lucky Wonda Coffee fans and rewarded with remarkable cash prizes worth RM1,000 and two crates of Wonda Coffee.
