Thai envoy to visit Sarawak with six-member delegation
KUCHING: The Thai ambassador to Malaysia, Narong Sasitorn will lead a six-member delegation to Sarawak to further explore potentials in bilateral collaboration.
Asean- China Entrepreneurs Association first vice president, Michael Liong said during the two- day visit from tomorrow, the delegation would look into ways to strengthen ties between Thailand and Malaysia, especially with Sarawak.
“This is the first working visit of the Thai ambassador ( Narong Sasitorn) to Kuching.
“The delegation members are keen to explore other potentials to tap, besides collaborations in the tourism and manufacturing sectors,” he told Bernama here yesterday.
He said the Thai delegation would also make courtesy calls on Sarawak Yang di-Pertua Negeri, Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud and Chief Minister, Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Abang Openg on Thursday. They will also visit various places of interest here. — Bernama
