28 traffic summonses issued, 3 foreigners arrested during joint ops in Kapit

KAPIT: A recent joint- operation between the Road Transport Department (JPJ), police and Immigration Department saw 28 summonses issued to motorists who committed various traffic offences, and three foreigners arrested.

The three-hour operation involved some 30 personnel from the three departments, who were stationed at three roadblocks here where they inspected vehicles and motorcycles travelling in and out of this town.

“The roadblocks were set up at Jalan Airport, in front of Kapit police station at Jalan Selirik, and the Jalan Sungai Selirik bypass,” said a JPJ spokesperson.
