PPKS to hold 21st convocation at BCCK

KUCHING: The Sarawak Skills Development Centre ( PPKS) will hold its 21st convocation ceremony at the Borneo Convention Centre Kuching ( BCCK) on Dec 6.

A total of 1,106 graduates will receive their scrolls during the convocation, which will be officiated by Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg.

The graduates, from various academic and skills programmes, have completed their studies at certificate, diploma and advanced diploma levels.

PPKS in a statement yesterday said the ceremony will be a momentous occasion as this will be the second time that graduates from across the PPKS Group of Institutions, including the International College of Advanced Technology Sarawak (i- CATS), will be attending the convocation in Kuching.

In addition to PPKS/i- CATS campuses in Kuching, there will also be graduates from the group’s Mukah and Miri campuses.

Graduates who require more information about the upcoming convocation are to contact PPKS Enrolment and Records Unit executive Siti Norhajar Sulaiman at 082- 361672 by Nov 23.
