Friendly bowling match fosters closer ties

MIRI: Rachel Chan with teammates Chan Cheong Weng and Patrick Ng emerged champion in SUPP Piasau branch’s Women and Youth Section Bowling Friendly Match at Megalane East Bowling in Bintang Megamall on Sunday.

The runner-up team comprised Lau Fong Ching, Yong Nyuk Ying and Rick Chin, while Philip Tay teamed up with Tan Li Foong and Audrey Tan to win the third place. In fourth place were Flora Sim, Chia Ngee Fuat and Krstyl. Six consolation prizes were also given.

Chai Beng Yung was best male bowler while the best female bowler was Julie Ting.

A total of ten teams participated in the friendly match to foster closer relationship between members of the youth and women sections.
