Collision at traffic light intersection injures motorcyclist

MIRI: A motorcyclist was severely injured when his machine collided with a car at a traffic light intersection in TudanKuala Baram road around 4pm yesterday.

It is learnt that the victim, in his 30s was waiting for the traffic lights to turn green when he was allegedly rammed by the car driven by a man who came from Tudan.

The impact caused the victim to be thrown from his motorcycle into a nearby drain.

He was rushed to Miri Hospital in an ambulance. Meanwhile, the driver of the car was unhurt. Police are investigating.

Passers-by help paramedics lift the victim from the drain to an ambulance.
