110 receive Audit Certificat­e Without Reprimand

KUALA LUMPUR: The financial statements of 110 agencies were accorded an Audit Certificat­e Without Reprimand by the Auditor General.

According to the Auditor General’s Report 2017 Series 2, the financial statements of 17 agencies were handed an Audit Certificat­e Without Reprimand with Emphasis of Matter, while six received an Audit Certificat­e with Reprimand, Conflictin­g (one) and Disowning (one).

Additional­ly, the financial statements of 13 agencies had not been finalised as of Sept 30, 2018, with among the reasons for the delay being, not having tabled it at the meeting of the Board of Directors, due to the chairman not being elected. — Bernama
