Teachers among enthusiasts at sape workshop

SIBU: School teachers were among the 11 participants at a Sape introductory workshop held at Sibu Mara Arcade here recently.

The one- day workshop from 9am to 5pm was organised by Sibu Dayak Sape Club ( KSDS) and conducted by its chairman Anthony Abong assisted by Watt Zack.

Sape enthusiasts were shown the correct ways of playing the instrument while learning the history of sape and the mission of KSDS.

Anthony thanked Lanang MP Alice Lau for supporting the event.

A certificate presentation ceremony was held at a cafe after the workshop.
