Tuai Rumah Association to host pre-New Year do

SIBU: Tuai Rumah Association of Sibu will host a pre-New Year 2019 gathering at Zoo Bee Restaurant in Bukit Aup this coming Sunday ( Dec 9).

A press statement on Sunday said the event to run from 8am3pm will see numerous merrymaking activities organised for the longhouse folk expected to number about 200.

Longhouse woman chieftain Catherine Tamoh Liom said the association would invite Second Finance Minister and Minister of International Trade and E-Commerce Dato Sri Wong Soon Koh to launch the event.

She added two local singers, Felixius Mathew and Dara Helena, would provide entertainment at the gathering which would also feature mini sports games for both adults and children.

“There will also be lucky draw prizes to be given out.”
